This Aspen local is a 3-time SuperPipe gold medalist who loves competing in front of the hometown crowd. In 2024, he became the first skier to achieve the perfect season in halfpipe. He won 7 out 7 competitions including X Games gold, 5 World Cups and the Dew Tour. That form carried into 2024–25, where he podiumed in all seven events (five World Cups, X Games, and World Championships). He credits his amazing transformation to a new found discipline. Athleticism is in the family: Father Marcelo was a pro soccer player who played for River Plate, the most successful team in Argentina. Fun and creative, Ferreira’s Hotdog Hans videos, where he plays a cantankerous senior citizen who skis, have become super popular.
